To Became Fit and Healthy Balanced Diet is very necessary. We have taken here some important tips for balanced diet.Foods have been classified into groups on the basis of the nutrients in them. A diet that has all the basic food groups in the right proportions is called a balanced diet. This simplifies meal planning and ensures an adequate intake of nutrients.

The basic food groups are:

Milk and milk products : yogurt, cheese, paneer.You need three servings each day of dairy products or other foods with calcium such as cheese, yogurt, milk, calcium-fortified.

Cereals: include rice, wheat, jowar, bajra, ragi and their products like suji, poha, other grains and sugar.Whole grain breads, cereals and pastas are much better then foods made with processed white flours because they have so much more fiber.

Proteins: include eggs, meat, fish, chicken, pulses and nuts. You need healthy protein sources like lean meats, fish, poultry, soy, nuts and seeds. Vitamins and minerals: found in all green and yellow vegetables and fruits. Besides vitamins and minerals like calcium and iron, they also provide fibre.Eat at least five to nine lots of green and brightly colored vegetables and fruits.

Fats and oils: You need a small amount of healthy fats every day from nuts, seeds and oils such as walnut oil and olive oil.

To get a balanced diet these all are very necessary , so take care that your diet contains all these groups.
